This is a section of my inspiration pin board next to my desk. It’s home to many postcards! The newest arrivals to the board are the awesome little motivational cards from @orangebeakstudio by @maisieparadise ...As someone who is in the early stages of their career as an illustrator it has been so beneficial to learn about the importance of a healthy work/life balance! It is so easy to get caught up in all of the work and deadlines and get into an unhealthy cycle of not leaving the desk for hours and even the house some days (if you work from home like I do!) The #orangebeakbewellworkwell campaign has been really motivating me to make an effort to get out and meet new people by starting crochet classes, make sure I leave the house everyday even if it is just for a little walk and making me try to stretch and exercise more often (I need to get better at this haha). I have found spending time in nature really helps me relax and unwind which then helps me solve problems I’ve been stuck with easier as well as becoming inspired with new ideas! Thank you so much @orangebeakstudio for this wonderful campaign! I am definitely becoming much more healthy and happy mentally and physically because of it 😊✍🏻

It was The Macmillan Prize private view last night and it was so lovely to see this wonderful bunch of people again! Massive well done to everyone, I feel very inspired after seeing such amazing work. Also thank you so much Shelley and Martin for coming to support us 🥂✍🏻
