Anna graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a first class degree in Illustration. Now graduating from a Masters in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, Anna aims to inspire the younger generations to get outdoors and explore the wildlife around them. By combining her passions for the conservation of wildlife and drawing, Anna aims to help cause awareness of endangered species through children’s books. As children’s books are aimed for future generations, Anna believes it is our duty to create books that not only encourage children to read for pleasure but to also educate them on important subjects.
When away from her desk, Anna loves spending time with her two dogs, Chalky and Meggie-Patch. Anna is bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoys visiting her family in Bilbao and going on walks in the mountains where she gains inspiration and ideas from her surroundings. An inspiration for a new character is never far away when she joins her family on their wildlife photography trips both around the UK and Spain in which Anna spends time observing and sketching different environments and creatures, from beetles and red squirrels to adders, puffins and owls.
